Includes 35 exquisite full-page black-and-white photographs and 6 foldouts selected from Takanashi's first book, Toshi-e (Towards the City), published in 1974. Yutaka Takanashi belonged to the small group of photographers who launched the magazine Provoke in 1968-69, including Takuma Nakahira, Koji Taki, and Takahiko Okada. Daido Moriyama joined the group during the production of the second issue.
