Collaboratively produced by Berger, Sven Blomberg, Chris Fox, Michael Dibb and Richard Hollis, with a jacket design by Roy Kuhlman. The publication is divided into seven numbered essays, three of which use only images, examining pictorial expression and its relationship with society. A landmark publication.
