Previously unpublished drawings of plant life by Ellsworth Kelly, made between 1949 and 2008 and described by the artist as "the bridge to the way of seeing that brought about the paintings in 1949 that are the basis for all my later work." Featuring thirty-two color illustrations, printed on the rectos only, and a black-and-white portrait of Kelly by Jack Shear.
