Edizioni East 128, Milano, 1968. Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Imperial 8vo, perfect bound, printed wraps. 118 unpag pages. Edition of 300. Beautifully illustrated and printed journal with an emphasis on poetry, mysticism, experimental drug use, anti-militarism, counter-culture and design. Translations of Allen Ginsberg, Jonas Mekas, W.S. Burroughs and others blend seamlessly with early illustrations from Archizoom and the incredible layout and design of Sottsass. Page orientations shift throughout, giving the viewer multiple experiences. Features a roadmap index of contemporary underground presses, an invaluable resource for readers at the time. This double issue would be the journal's last, after only one previous issue. Title page lists the editorship as "Direttore Responsabile: Fernanda Pivano; Direttore Irresponsabile: Allen Ginsberg; Capo dei Giardini: Ettore Sottsass jr.". The subtitle of the issue, as printed on the cover, is "Equinozio Invernale 1968 - Tecnologia del Decondizionamento" which loosely translates to "Winter Equinox 1968 - Deconditioning Technology". In very good to near fine condition with a solid, tight binding. Some minor stains to the spine and only very minor rubbing. Interior is bright with very minor age toning to the thick newsprint pages.
