A scarce issue of Dennis Cooper's influential Little Caesar Magazine dedicated to the writing of Piero Heliczer. Guest edited by Gerard Malanga, the issue includes a long list of contributors including Rene Ricard, Sterling Morrison, Anselm Hollo, Gregory Corso, Clark Coolidge, David Rattray, Anne Waldman, Jonas Mekas, La Monte Young, Marian Zazeela, Angus MacLise, John Wieners, and Allen Ginsberg, among many others.
The Italian-American Heliczer was known for beginning the Dead Language Press with his friend, the poet-composer Angus MacLise, as well as his film work both behind and in front of the camera, notably acting in Jack Smith's Flaming Creatures and filming early iterations of the Velvet Underground.
