An early poetry chapbook by Tim Dlugos, friend and associate of Joe Brainard, Brad Gooch, Eileen Myles, and others of a New York Poetry scene gathered around St. Marks Church in the late 1970s and 1980s. Praised for his political commitments and poetry alike, Dlugos's work was "poetry of extraordinary speed and energy that fuses fact and fantasy, dream and documentary. Tim Dlugos' every nerve seems to vibrate", in the words of critic Marjorie Perloff. Dlugos contracted HIV in 1987 and died of complications from AIDS in 1990.
