Poems by Gerard Malanga, written in the company of an otherwise inconspicuous Cristina Miller, the poet's apparent love interest. 53 of the 61 poems included were composed on a single day, May 10, 1970, in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, near the home of painter Andrew Wyeth. The remaining eight are dated over the following two days as Malanga returned to New York.
