Original program book published to coincide with Woodstock Music and Art Fair , held August 15 18, 1969 at a dairy farm in Bethel, New York. Includes information on the festival and graphic illustrations advertising the various performers planned for the weekend, including Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, and many others. Beautifully printed using three differing paper stocks with eye-popping graphic design throughout. Later reprinted, this original copy features the obscured "of" printing on the cover, printed parchment paper FFEP and RFEP and high resolution photo spread advertising the Grateful Dead, all missing from the later reprint. In Very Good to Near Fine condition with faint rubbing to the rear wrapper. Pages are extremely well-preserved, clear and bright, thus very scarce on the market.
